They offer ultra fast loan application. No hassle, 100% online.
Loans are unsecured, meaning no collateral is needed
in order to get a loan with SeedCash.
The challenge
The Australian market is pretty much the same with New Zealand.
However Australia has more compliance policies.
In depth research is needed to design an effective website that complies with
all the policies for a finance company in Australia.
The Australian compliance policies pretty much leveled all the competition ground
which means service wise there is nothing really to offer that would be an edge
against the competition...

The design of the website.
Opportunity
The website needed to be interesting, fun, useful and most importantly easy enough to use
in order to get the Australian market on board.
So functionality is a key aspect here.
I designed a calculator tool that users can play around and check loan amount,
repayment and repayment schedule. With the calculator as functional tool that users can use,
this slowly builds trust.
Trust is one of the most important aspect in UX Design in order to get people do a certain
behavior when they are browsing the website. In this case to apply for a loan.
To establish trust i utilized a decision path which are necessary steps that users has to
see, interact or feel in order for them to convert.

A real big challenge is the designing the Client dashboard.
Lots of conditions, logic and parameters in the backend is happening.
A clear visual hierarchy , information architecture and affordance cues are
needed to visualize a number of conditions such as when a client repaid his loan on time
with no late repayments, missed or defaulted on a payment.

The loan status progress wheel is designed in way that clients
can see their next repayment schedule and amount without
fully showing all the amount they owe.
This important as to not overwhelmed them with repayment amount.

Progressive Disclosure is heavily utilized in the dashboard design.
In the gathering phase of the design, information were scaled
from the most to least importance.
Information with the most importance are shown above the fold.
All others are hidden. Users can access it when they need to.
